These past 20 years, tumors have disturbed me three times already.  Thanks to God,  I managed to free myself from the tumor’s hold  by three different ways.  At first, in 1985, I was stricken by breast cancer.  The doctor stated that it was malignant and must be operated on immediately.  I remembered a neighbor who was stricken by the same disease, was operated on, and died three months  after undergoing the operation.  If I did have to meet my God, I would rather meet Him while still whole physically. Three years ago, a friend told me about the efficacy of the mahkota dewa fruit.  According to my friend, it can cure all sorts of diseases.  I had a disturbing lump on my neck, the size of a chicken egg, but flat and thin.  I had it for years, but it did not cause any pain.

It was my stomach aches that was most disturbing, my stomach puffing up and smarting. We have three children, all girls.  The eldest is married, the second a university student, and the youngest  an  elementary school student.  We would like to have a son, but God Almighty did not granted us one.

Around November 2002, when Gita fell ill, we were shocked and panicked when the doctor told us that our child was stricken by thalassemia, a genetically determined defect of hemoglobin synthesis, associated with hepatosplenomegaly.  To overcome  this disease, Gita would require blood transfusions all her life.  When the time came for the blood transfusion, Gita would become faint and deathly pale.  After transfusion, she looked healthy and cheerfully lively like other children her age.  Yet two weeks later  she would look pale again.   We diligently went to and fro hospitals for the sake of our beloved child’s recovery.  Gita may not tire herself.  So I asked her sports teacher that she be excused  from physical exercises for the time being.  The teacher understood my child’s condition. Waiting For Many Years To Overcome Leukemia And Epilepsy

I have always been a sickly child.  Hospitals have become my second home. My parents’ hard-earned money were spent to pay for my treatments.  I am the eldest of four siblings, three girls and one boy.  I was a victim of  leukemia otherwise called blood cancer, and epilepsy.  Having taken too much medicine  since childhood, my kidneys and liver were not functioning well.

Because of my illness, I did not perform well at school, I did not even manage to finish Junior High School.  I suffered fainting spells, foaming at the mouth.  Sunrays had the same effect on me.  These fainting spells could happen any place.  In the end, I became like a girl kept secluded.  I could not associate like other girls my age.  But there was nothing I could do about it.  I obeyed my parents and did not leave the house.  Watching television was my only consolation and entertainment.  I knew about the existence of malls and other places of recreation from watching television only. How I wished to be there in person.  As for love, young people in love, this I learned from the films shown on television.  I did not dare imagine some young man falling in love with me.  When my sadness reached its peak, I was often angry with God for being born to suffer only. After 40 years having diabetes disease (it is in the book of “Menumpas DM bersama Mahkota Dewa”)

One by one my relatives died of diabetes disease they had for years.  I am the eldest of five brothers-and-sisters, we all had diabetes genetically.  My disease was actually had begun before I got married.

I had tried everything to be healed, but there were never any result. Starting from Shinse Treatment to Modern Medical Treatment, from Indonesian doctors to Singaporean doctors, but still there was no satisfying result.  I had spent hundreds millions of Rupiah for medical treatment of this annoying disease.  I had followed all instructions from my doctors, but my blood sugar level of was never normal.  The doctors told me that there is no medicine could ever cure diabetes.  Yes, diabetes could not be cured. For 4 years, I purposely kept my brain cancer a secret from my husband, family, neighbors and close acquaintances.  I did not want them to worry.  It turned out, though, that I could not keep this secret much longer. One of the symptoms of brain cancer is severe dizziness, the frequency of which would become increasingly worse over time.  Every two days I would have a fainting spell because I could not stand the pain and dizziness.  This alerted my husband and family who then found out that I suffered from brain cancer. Every person who was told by his doctor that he has tumor or cyst in his body must be shocked by the fact.  People could get stressed and depressed even only by hearing the word “operation”.  The same thing happened to me when the doctor told me that I had a cyst in the size of 2.8×2.3 cm in my womb.  I also had gastritis and kidney failure.  Luckily, my husband was always supportive and took me to alternative treatments.
